In pea plants, the allele for wrinkled seeds (r) is recessive to the allele for round seeds (R). A population that is in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium has an allele frequency of r = 0.4. If there are 250 offspring in the next generation, which of the following would be expected? 40 plants with wrinkled seeds and 210 plants with round seeds 62 plants with wrinkled seeds and 188 plants with round seeds 90 plants with wrinkled seeds and 160 plants with round seeds 100 plants with wrinkled seeds and 150 plants with round seeds

Prevalence of wrinkled seeds (r) is 0.40.

Over 250 seeds (offsprings), we expect 250*0.4=100 wrinkled, and therefore (250-100) = 150 round.
