The answer is b. more harmful uv rays will reach the earth's surface.

An ozone layer is present in stratosphere serving as a filter from harmful UV rays of the Sun. Thus, if the ozone layer is depleted, UV rays will reach the Earth's surface. UV rays are able to affect animal skin causing cancer and eyes causing cataracts, blindness, and other eye diseases. Plants are also affected by UV rays.
