Amount of sunlight. The food consumed does not directly affect skin colour unless you're considering eating too much carrots. Numbers of genes are genetic factors, not environmental factors

    amount of sunlight absorbed

    Explanation:

Sunlight is from the environment and when we are exposed to sun, our skin is darker. The more sun we are exposed to, the darker our skin is, hence tanning.

Genes are not an environmental factor.

Food does not affect our skin colour.
