The sea snails in tidal marine areas feed on the dominant species of algae. What kind of interaction takes place between the sea snail and the algae?

    The sea snail and the algae have a predator-prey relationship. The sea snail is the predator since it feeds on algae. Dominant species algae is the prey since it was the one being eaten. Snail is having its hunger pangs met by the algae.
