What is the purpose of eyelids on amphibians?

A.) hide from predators

B.) keep the eyes moist

C.) see more clearly

I think its C. for water purposes but I really don't know.

    The answer is A. The eyelids are to hide there eyes from predators so they don't get hurt on there eyes.
