Globular proteins are usually spherical in shape and in term of structure, they are folded in such a way that their tertiary structures are made up of polar amino acids which arranged on the outside and the non polar amino acid are arranged on the inside. This arrangement is responsible for the solubility of the globular proteins and the protein structures is responsible for the catalytic functions of these proteins. Fibrous proteins are insoluble in water, the amino acids that made up this proteins are arranged in such a way that they can serve structural functions in the body.
