Is the practice of genetically modifying human cells ethical why or why not.

If your friend was considering a genetic modification to have a child and asked for your advice, what would you tell her?

    The prospects of ‘Designer Babies’ is considered unethical by the society. While some argue that it gives parents the autonomy to improve their children's genetics maybe against, the technology invites an arms race by parents in a bid to make their children superior (such as athletic capability) to others which will lead to a disaster by tearing apart the social fabric.
