    Explanation: Population produces offspring because as long as there are two types of organisms in the population, male carrying XY chromosome, and female carrying XX chromosome mating will occurs and once mating starts to occur

    offsprings will be given birth to, this is why population has offsprings of the parents.

    Most organisms lives to maturity and give rise to another offsprings which makes up the next generation.

    All population grow over time, as long as there is mating, there will be offsprings and as long as the number of organisms in a population increase there is growth in the population.

    Option 2 is incorrect because as population grows, resources reduces and becomes scarce because of the total number of organisms competing for the available resources.
