Why can the removl of one important species affect an entire ecosystem

    anyway ... the removal of a species is a danger to the environment is because it would effect the entire ecosystem. For example, A certain plant became extinct the animal which ate that plant only would start dying because its food source would be gone, then the animal which ate the other animal would have no food so the would also die. This would keep going on.
