    A

    Explanation:

All the organisms listed are considered higher organisms because they are made of eukaryotic cells. The major difference between a eukaryotic cell and a prokaryotic cell is that the former has a nuclear membrane that surrouds the nucleus of the cell. Eukaryotic cell's organelles are also membrane-bound unlike in prokaryotes. Of the three (3) only pine tree is an autotroph while the other two are heterotrophs.
