The process of chemosynthesis is usually performed by organisms like bacteria in tube worms that (B) Live without sunlight.

    Explanation:

Hydrothermal vents are formed deep inside the oceanic floor resulted from volcanos. When these were discovered by scientists, it was found a large amounts of marine creatures like clams, tubeworms, shrimps live here in hydrothermal vents.

These creatures live without sunlight. They survive on hydrogen sulfide. With the process of chemosynthesis, these special bacteria, create energy from "hydrogen sulfide" which is present in the "mineral-rich water" flowing out of the vents. Other vent animals depend on these bacteria for food.
