Sydney notices that her Gazania daisies open and close their blooms at different times of the day. She spends a year observing her flowers and records what time they open and close in her journal. She also records the temperature, the general air quality, and how light it is outside. She realizes that the flowers open with the sunrise and close with the sunset, and she concludes that the sun causes them to open and close.

What would be the best additional step that Sydney should have taken to fully use the scientific inquiry process?

developing a hypothesis

sharing her results

analyzing her data

having a control group

Since she already made her hypothesis and analyzed her data, she should probably make share her results because it would most likely be hard to create a control group since she might have to leave the plant outside. Also, by sharing her data, she could compare her information with others who had the same expiriment.
