The correct option is C - Secondary spermatocytes

The secondary spermatocytes go under meiosis II to produce four haploid mature sperm cells. The spermatogonial stem cells divide from primary spermatocytes by mitosis. Then undergoing the meiosis II, the primary spermatocyte enters diploid stage. Daughter cells are formed after first meiotic division. These daughter cells or secondary spermatocytes go through another meiotic division that in turns gives rise to the haploid spermatids.
