Magma originates in the deep areas of the interior of the earth between the upper mantle and the crust, so it can be known that the main components of magmas are the most common elements of that area, where eight elements form between 98 and 99% of the total mass of the earth's crust and almost half of it is oxygen. Oxygen comprises 46.6% of the composition of magma.
