    It is discovered that 'stem cells' frequently generate new brain cells in the 'medial cortex of the geckos' which is a part of the brain. It is responsible for behaviour and social cognition. This part of the brain has a 'well-studied counterpart' in the brain of human. Gecko are not poisonous, non dangerous vocal lizard, this species belongs to infraorder Gekkota, widespreaded in warmer regions. These species of lizards cannot blink. The brain size of the gecko is very small when compared with the mammals. The parts of the brain are cerebrum, olfactory bulb, optic lobe, cerebellum and pituitary gland.
