If the mitochondria of half the organisms in the ecosystem stopped functioning what indicators in the ecosystem would change

    I think it's quite likely that all the organisms that lose 50% of their mitochondria pretty much die. Perhaps some plants can survive that, but I doubt animals can. Hope this answers the question. Have a nice day. Feel free to ask more questions.
