Increasing the amount of DNA will increase the time required for completing the electrophoresis

    Explanation:

If the amount of DNA in a gel is increased or the concentration of electrophoresis gel is increased then the process of electrophoresis will take a longer time for a high concentration gel. This is so because DNA moves at a fast speed in a low concentration gel. However, there are several other factors which affect the electrophoresis results such as supply of electricity for a longer period of time, Voltage, duration of electrophoresis, volume of the sample etc.
