    Answer: Anterior portion of the deltoid muscle.

    Deltoid muscle is formed by three portions: Anterior or clavicular portion, middle and scapular part.

    Contraction of each portion of the muscle leads to different movements of the shoulder. The clavicular part causes the shoulder to flex, while the middle part causes abduction and the scapular part causes extension.
