The DNA structure is modified by the replacement of DNA base by amino acid. Thus, the protein formation process by amino acids also gets affected.

    Explanation:

The sequence of DNA bases determines the DNA structure. The change in the coding of DNA bases due to amino acids results in a change of both the number of bases and amino acids in the gene which may alter the protein building. These changes may occur in different ways such as addition, deletion or substitution of DNA base with an amino acid.
