    False

    Explanation:

In recent decades there has been a decline in amphibian populations worldwide. The major reason for the decline of amphibian populations has been habitat destruction. Besides habitat destruction, global climate change, as well as chytridiomycosis disease, has also been a major factor in driving the population towards extinction. As a result of the above-mentioned factors as well as a few others, more than 43% of the amphibian populations are declining and already many of the species have gone extinct.
