    These steps describe the function of the somato-motor branch of the efferent nervous system. It is the branch of the somatic nervous system (voluntary) that causes skeletal muscle contraction (motor).

    If, however, it describes ACh initiating smooth muscle contraction via muscarinic, then that would be visceral motor (autonomic ns).
