X - linked genes are present on X chromosome and not on Y chromosome that's why called as X-linked genes.

Red is dominant to white and this gene is X - linked gene so it will be present on X-chromosome.

    XX Red eyes female

XRY Red eye male (gene on X chromosome is dominant for red)

X 'Y white eyes male (recessive gene for white colour)
