    C. medulla

    Explanation:

The Medulla is the part of the brainstem that controls respiration ad circulation. The medulla is anterior and partly inferior to the cerebellum having sensory ad motor neurons running through it. This center controls the heart rate, breathing, sneezing, coughing, and blood pressure.

It is this part of the brain that controls what happens in my respiratory system, in response to the dust and fumes in the air I inhaled.
