No. Plants need animals to spread their seeds. Animals also loosen the ground for seeds or other forms of plants (not everything uses seeds right?) If animals didn't eat some plants certain plants would over populate some areas, killing off the other plant life (it has a fancy name I forgot it) and last of all deceased animals sometimes provide as nutrition for other plants.

NO plants could not live without animals for the following reasons ...
1. The plants would over populate
2. the plants would die off due to the lack of nutrients
3. There would not be enough carbon dioxide to the plants
4. Most plants would get a lack of sunlight and would not get photosynthisis
