    There are two main kinds of benign tumors which forms on the surface of epithelial cells. These are adenoma and pailloma.

    Papillomas appear over the surface of stratified squamous epithelium that is on the surface of skin, vagina, cervix, and oral.

    Adenomas are the benign tumors which appears on the glandular epithelium that is on the parenchymatous organs which exhibit exocrine and endocrine secretions. These appear on the unistratified mucosa of the hollow organs of the body.
