Where does glycolysis, citric acid cycle, and ETC take place?

    Glycolysis takes place in the cytoplasm. Citric acid cycle happens in the matrix of mitochondria. It is also called as the Krebs cycle. Electron transport chain occurs in the inner membrane of mitochondria. These processes are the main stages of cellular respiration.
