Describe the relationship between Crust, mantle, lithosphere, asthenosphere, and tectonic plates.

    Crust is the the upper layer of the earth. There are two types of crust:

    1) Ocean crust

    2) Continental crust

    Tectonic plate are generally made up of earth crust. The upper layer is mantle. The mantle is the mostly-solid bulk of Earth's interior ...

    Crust and the upper layer combined to form lithosphere. They are about 80Km deep.

    The asthenosphere is ductile. They are deformed like silicon polymer in response to the warmth of the earth. The rocks actually flows, when stressed is appiled they are start moving deep interior of earth.
