    (B) generating some kind of social impact

    Explanation:

The basic premise for the existence of not for profit enterprises is generating some kind of social impact. The not for Profit enterprises, as the name implies serve their respective society members. For example, Red Cross Society encourages the society to donate blood for the needy patients and a cooperative society works for the welfare of its members to satisfy their common goals etc.

Hence, not for profit managers enable a social impact for their respective serving members and thereby enjoy their respective members' contributions. This is opposite of the business managers, whose basic aim is increasing profits only.
