    3. Improved cost of living adjustment which could amount to better health benefits.

    4. It may also mean that the company backs down from trying to take away from what the union staff have gained in previous contracts.

    1. Loss of wages during periods of strike.

    2. Financial damages to the company

    3. Loss of benefits such as medical aid insurance, sick and holiday pay if the strike drags on for an extended period of time.
