    The treasurer and the controller of a corporation generally report directly to the Chief financial officer.

    The responsibility of treasurer is to control, collect money and distribution of money and he is also responsible to give all the records whenever requested. The responsibility of the controller is to hold on all the financial statement like budgeting, tax, payroll etc. as he is the head accountant.
