As discussed in class this semester, employment laws are loosening, and more employers are open to hiring people with a criminal past. Do you believe this is a good strategy? Yes or No and Why?

    Yes i believe it is a good strategy to hire people with criminal past.

    Explanation:

    My reason for this answer is because ex-offenders tends to be very loyal to their employers being that the company gave them a second chance. They will do everything possible to impress their employer so as to stay in the job longer.

    Furthermore, by overlooking ex-offenders at a time when unemployment in the country is low, can put an employer at a competitive disadvantage. so in order not to miss out on qualified individual, an employer could give an ex-offender a second chance.
