    Explanation: The uniqueness of metal's atomic arrangement which involves having one to three valence electrically charged particles which are known as electrons in the external orbital shell of the atoms behaves as carriers of electric current. This permits the metals to conduct electrical charges in every part of its arrangement with small opposition. However, these valence electrons are totally disconnected from the middle hence move freely when an electric charge is applied to it and indiscriminately when there is no electric charge is applied to it.
