There are three measures of tendency mainly the mean, median and mode. The most appropriate central tendency to be used is the median as it is not so much affected by outliers and skewed data whereas the mean is much affected to. Also, the median is not much affected by frequent data scores in a given set whereas data multiple frequent data scores are affected by the mode.
