a) A quotation is an offer to sell certain items to a customer, listing the prices and other delivery terms while sales order, similar to a quotation is a list of prices and other terms in a more formal way and legally binding the transaction. Sales order are dependent on the quotation

b) Delivery documents is more like an approval for delivery. Different but similar sales order can be merged to form a delivery so far the destination is the same.

c) Transfer requirement can consist different deliveries document and vice versa. It aids easier administration of goods in the warehouse.

d) When different deliveries are made to the same customer, one billing document can be generated to cover this. But in a situation where agreed terms of payment for different items supplied through a particular delivery is not the same, different billing document is raised.
