    Cost per pound = $3.22

    Explanation:

To get the cost per pound of the soup we will first need to get the individual costs of the ingredients used, add them up, and then divide total cost by number of total pounds.

    Cost of potatoes = $3.32*5pounds = $16.6

    Cost of cod=$3.23*2pounds = $6.46

    Cost of fish broth = $3.11*5pounds = $15.55

    Total cost = 15.55 + 6.46 + 16.6 = $38.61

    Total pounds bought = 5+2+5 = 12 pounds

    Therefore

Cost per pound of soup = Total cost/Total pounds

    Cost per pound = 38.61/12

    Cost per pound = $3.218~$3.22
