A car wash services 200 customers an hour on a lovely Saturday afternoon. The car wash employs 5 washers at $6 per hour and uses $50 of water and $5 of electricity per hour. They charge $10 per car for their standard wash job. What is the new productivity if they decrease wages by 1%?

    Employees = 5

    Electricity = $5

    Water usage = $50

    Charges per car = $10

    Customers serviced per hour = $200

    Decrease in wages by 1%

    = $6 / 100

    = 0.06

    Productivity = output / input

    = 200 x $10 + $50 + $5 / 5 x $5.94
