Theft usually results in some kind of harm. For example, if someone steals your car, you may suffer financial loss, inconvenience (by losing your mode of transportation), and emotional upset (because of invasion of your personal property and space). List three kinds of harm a company might experience from theft of computer equipment.

    In case a company suffers the theft of computer equipment, the first loss incurred is financial. It will be calculated according to the value of those servers at the time purchased and depreciation. Then, the company is losing confidential information stored in those computers. Depending on the business, a company could lose sensitive customers' information, financial statements, corporate objectives, differential advantages, among others. Besides, the theft represents a delay in the organization's operations that could affect the profits of the period more than just by losing the computers physically.
