One of the other employees in your department department did not show up for work he will not be coming in today no one will be arriving to replace what is the most appropriate way to handle the situation

    the best way to handle this situation is to share him responsibilities amongst available employees so as to keep the ball rolling in the office. business can't shut down because he didn't show up

    When you are hired by an organization or a company, its your duty to fulfill you duties and do you work according to the company's needs and respect and adhere the rules and regulations of that company. But if any employee doesn't show care towards such important aspects, he should be taught about the rules. Rather all new employees should be given an orientation about the working environment and the rules and regulations of the company.

    So if there is a situation in which an employee doesn't show up with no call, the first step should be to call him and ask about the absence. Secondly the work which was due to him and have to be completed on the same day, should be distributed among his fellow colleagues, in order to not delay the work due to his absence.
