Different structures tend to give organizations different advantages. For each advantage, identify whether it is associated with a functional structure or divisional structure.

Employees in each unit tend to be focused on their work specialty rather than on the customer, so the organization can be slow to respond to changes in the business environment.

    Employees work on there specialty and give second preference to there customer. This can lead to : -

    1. Unsatisfied customer - Customer wants there grievances to be adhered.

    2. Wrong word of Mouth - As one customer has the ability to influence hundred more potential customers.

    3. Accountability - in the Functional Structure as well as Divisional Structure the employees restrict themselves to there work which DOES NOT make them accountable to adapt to changes in the Business.
