    What are the effects of primarily getting news on social media?

    The news on social media are closer related to persons daily interactions and in a sense is a way to see what is happening in a micro environment such as a neighborhood, a retail store, in a highway.

    The social media news are not filtered then you decide what is valuable for you and what is not.

    As disadvantages, They are not trustable sources of information as some people manipulate the feeds and create fake news.

    Are certain groups of people more affected by this?

    Teengaers and people under 30 years aold as they are the real consumers of that type of media.
