You should maintain present course and speed, when you are are being overtaken by a sailboat. It is always expected that the vessel that is being overtaken by another vessel to give-way, regardless of whether it is a sailing vessel of a power-driven vessel. The vessel being overtaken is always the stand-on vessel.
