Two of the testimonies Job gave when the Lord allowed Satan to take his possessions and afflict his body were " The Lord gave and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord". Job in the Bible is described as a man who was so blameless and upright and a person who praised God with all his might as well as a person who avoided evil. He had sons and daughters and even owned thousands of sheep, camels, oxen, asses and he also had many servants. He was said to be the richest in the East. But in the story, all of a sudden, all of his possessions were ripped off from him. All and including his family were taken away from him. Health was also taken away from him and all of these are due to Satan’s challenge to God that Job will eventually give in and turn his back away from God. Satan persuaded God to allow him to do these bad things to Job and prove that Job will curse God if all his possessions will be taken from him. But despite all the challenges and all the losses which happened to Job, Job still remained faithful to God.
