These can all be considered minorities in the work industry and all face similar problems in their respective professional fields. Such problems can be lower pay than their co-workers with equal responsibilities or even discrimination in the work place due to their respective differences. Each minority in the workforce may experience such challenges preventing them from advancing or just making their overall professional life harder than it should be.
