Services are simultaneously produced and consumed.

    Explanation:

Services are defined as transaction that does not involve exchange of goods, but is based on a customer's willingness to accept the exchange. Services are intangible.

Service products are characterised by being simultaneously produced and consumed. Since service is intangible and usually supplied to the customer as per the time needed, it is not durable and must be consumed as it is offered. For example in tourism as tourists are taken round a service is being offered, at the same time the service is being consumed by the tourist.

On the other hand goods products can be stored and consumed later, they are durable on nature.
