    Retailing is the efforts that a company does to sell and distributes their goods or services through multiple mediums / platforms. The purpose of retailing is to ensure that all of their consumers able to obtain their products in the easiest way possible.

    Marketing on the other hand, is the efforts that a company does in order to promote their goods or services. Rather than focusing on how to distribute the product, marketing put more emphasize on how to make people aware of their products and prefer their products over the competitor's.
