when you interact with young children, do you alter your vocabulary and sentence structure? why or why not?

    Speak normally to them unless they don't understand you want to teach them

    Yes, it will be easier for them to comprehend when we simplify our structures and vocabulary.

    This is mainly because children are not exposed yet to many varieties of language structures, grammar and words as much as adults. However, over time, this has to be introduced to them.
