This is true. Jerry's managerial style is leaning more towards the positive one--which is the Y theory based on Douglas McGregor's 2 management theories. All the statements mentioned indicates that Jerry is indeed a Y theory manager which basically means that the manager assumes that the employees would be willing to take on additional tasks so long as they're properly compensated for it.
