The underlying factors behind the decoupling that is prevalent are the increase in the income margins of the rich and the poor, the increasing gulfs between financial classes, the differences in the standards of living of the people, etc. The balance of the global economy is shifting towards developing countries.

    Explanation:

As the developing countries blessed with great human resources are emerging to become global hubs of outsourcing businesses and IT firms, they are attracting the balance of the global economy towards them. If the same trends persist, these developing countries would be as economically healthy as developed countries are.
