It is false that producers of business products generally spend a larger percent on advertising than do producers of consumer products. There are far more people in the world than there are businesses, and thus advertisements are usually addressed to the general consumer rather than a business. More people are going to buy consumer products than businesses are going to buy business products, which is why these ads are mainly created by producers of consumer products.
