Sexual harassment in a workplace refers to bullying or coercion that is sexual in nature or a promise of rewards in exchange for sexual favors. In the scenario given above, Hector has not committed sexual harassment by asking his boss out on a date because of his attraction for her. Kylie did not commit sexual harassment by rejecting Hector's proposal, but it is wrong for her to be making jest of Hector's proposal in front of other colleagues. This constitutes sexual harassment and Hector can decide to take up the matter.
